Conference report | 2019 polyurethane rigid foam industry development forum successfully closed in Chengdu

From April 18 to 19, 2019, the 2019 Polyurethane Rigid Foam Industry Development Forum, sponsored by the Polyurethane Products Professional Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association and co organized by Beijing Yuzhan Information Consulting Co., Ltd., was held in Chengdu, China. Officials from relevant functional departments of the government, industry experts, industry scholars, and representatives of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry attended the meeting to jointly exchange and discuss the development ideas and countermeasures of polyurethane rigid foam industry under the new situation, and exchange and discuss the innovation of raw materials, equipment, formula and technology.

The meeting was chaired by Meng Qingjun, Deputy Secretary General of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, and Liu Weidong, Secretary General of Polyurethane Products Special Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association. Zhu Wenwei, Chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, delivered a speech at the meeting.

In addition, it is also faced with many difficulties, such as smaller polyurethane product enterprises, faster elimination of foaming agents, and greater enforcement of safety and environmental protection laws. In this regard, people in the industry should unite, adhere to the road of green development, adhere to the road of high-quality development, and work together to overcome difficulties.

In addition, Guo Xiaolin, Deputy Director of the Third Division of the Center for Foreign Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, made a report on ODS Substance Elimination and Management Policy, and interpreted the national policies and regulations on ODS.

Sun Bo, a project official from the three departments, made a report on the Plan for HCFC-141b Elimination of Polyurethane (PU) foam Industry and Introduction to HFCs Control in the Future, introducing the progress of HCFC-141b elimination of polyurethane foam industry and the later work plan.

Various experts in the industry mainly made 17 keynote speeches around the development trends related to the polyurethane rigid foam industry chain and * new product technology, covering the government policies related to polyurethane rigid foam, the status quo and development trend of cold chain warehousing and logistics industry, the success of raw material research and development, * new technology, home appliances and other downstream application trends, and the application of different foaming agents in polyurethane rigid foam.

Hebei Yadong Group, Chengdu Hangfa Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd., Zibo Lianchuang Polyurethane Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Boshi Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and other units made wonderful reports on the development of polyurethane rigid foam special polyether and the development of foaming agent replacement system.

The theme of this conference is "environmental protection, innovation, competition and cooperation, and win-win", with speeches as the medium and dialogue as the guide. The upstream and downstream people in the polyurethane rigid foam industry gathered together to exchange and discuss the problems and opportunities facing the industry development, and discuss the good strategies for the healthy development of the industry.
